Five years served as an instructor in San Diego at the Dental Technician "A" school 1974 to 1975. Served on USS Valcan, frist ship in the Navy with a male and female crew. Selected "Sailor of the Year" 1981, USS Valcan, from a crew of 500 enlisted personnel. Awarded Navy Achivement Medal for superior performance of duty on USS Valcan. Served at Marins Corps Base, Camp Pendelton, Ca at the Naval Dental Clinic as the clinic Enlisted Personnel Supervisor and as the Assistant Administrartive Chief Petty Officer and Command Career Counselor. Was stationed on the USS Enterprise as the Chief Dental Techinican of the Dental Deptment 1985 until retirement from the Navy in Dec 1987.
