Born Sep 11, 1954, John F Homer attended Warren Township High School in Gurnee, IL.

John passed away at home surrounded by his family. He fought a long hard painful battle with LGL Leukemia. He was saved by grace of our Lord Jesus Christ many years prior. He loved his family and friends. He is completely healed and resting in the arms of God.

John F Homer with our beloved dog Marley. We grieved so much when we had to put our beloved 4 legged son to sleep. He was so special and so very smart. John spent lots of time teaching Marley all kinds of tricks. John said of all the dogs he ever had he loved him the most.

John and I at the WTHS prom. We've been married 20 years and 3 months. He was the most wonderful husband and we had so many happy years together. His fight was our fight. We stood strong, hand in hand, heart to heart, fighting the battle together. I loved him with all my heart and I miss him dearly. Knowing that he is healed now and in Heaven keeps me alive with the hopes of being together again. He was the kindest, most gentle person I've ever known.
