Steve was my brother. I and the rest of the family miss him every day. He died March 21, 2021. He was funny even at the very end. While his wife was speaking to someone on how to get Steve home, Steve, who could not speak, rubbed his thumb and finger together in the age old sign of money and cost. His wife rolled her eyes and sternly told him the cost was not relevant at this point. If you knew Steve, you know this was very important to him and can smile at the absurdity of it all. He never did get home but that’s where his heart is at and our love for him.
