Services: Friends may call on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at DeVoe Funeral Services, Inc., 136 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. A burial will follow at Montana Cemetery, Harmony, NJ. This note is written on October 29, 2024, over 16 years after Scott's passing. Scott and I used to play basketball outside on his parents' driveway. We were on the golf team together, and also on the basketball team. Scott (and Tom Cryan) helped lead the Blue Streaks to a 20-0 season in 1968-69. I believe Scott went on to play Division III basketball for Moravian College. Bob Valentine, Scott, Tom Hraczak and I were a fairly regular foursome playing golf not only in Washington, but also at courses like Bethlehem Municipal.
Scott was, as his classmates will remember, a great basketball player as well as a fine golfer. I am sorry that he passed so young. I hope you are resting in peace, Scott.
