Slayer came to school

Remember 1982-83 slayer vs administration. Nowslayer as those who may remember had played at lunch previously with no problems. But it would be Kerry kings now worlds famous wall of nails forearm protectors that would shut down the next lunch time visit. To bad. I still feel the pain of the peanut butter and jelly sandwich that slapped my face in the huge food fight that followed slayers shutdown at Warren high. For the rest of you that would only remember stryper or Metallica but not slayer this is for you . Oh and if you happen to run into Kerry let em know Jason Rhodes says hi.

Who named bears?

It's my understanding that bear name came about because Earl Warren had a daughter known as 'Honey Bear.' I learned that from my Dad before he drove a truck the bear statue to its spot on the Warren campus
