About	Daniel J. Santone Sr. 1942-2009 SOUTHINGTON - Daniel J. Santone Sr., 67, of Southington, died at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009, at his residence. He was born July 1, 1942, in Warren, a son of Anthony Santone and Anne Vennitti. Mr. Santone was a 1960 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and attended Youngstown State University. For the last 35 years, he was a self-employed building contractor with Santone Construction Co. He was a member of St. William Church and was very active with Champion Boy Scouts Troop 27. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Daniel is survived by two sons, Daniel J. Santone Jr. of Philadelphia and Michael R. Santone of Dublin; three brothers, Carmen (Kathy) Santone of Warren, Michael D. ''Mickey'' Santone of Warren and Anthony (Carol) Santone of Newton Falls; a sister, Joanne ''Josie'' Santone of Warren; and a brother, Paul (Susan) Santone of Southington. His parents preceded him in death. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday at St. William Church, with celebrant the Rev. Michael Balash. Memorial calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Peter Rossi and Son Memorial Chapel, and also a half hour prior to services Friday morning at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Youngstown, Ohio 44512 or Boy Scouts of America Greater Western Reserve Council, 4930 Enterprise Blvd., Warren, Ohio 44481.
