About	Melanie Jane Cunningham, age 37, passed away Sunday, august 13, 2023 in Fairfax, VA. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, William C. (Bill) Cunningham. Anyone who had the honor of knowing Mel, knew she was a free spirit who had a fierce independent nature mixed with a love and devotion to her children and family that can be matched by none. Mel was never happier than when she was with her boys. She had a tremendous love for each one of them and her passing will leave a void in them which will never be filled. Mel also loved outdoor adventures. She was happiest fishing, floating, or just sitting by the water. The river was her happy place. Mel is survived by her three sons, Codie Dale, Bryce Campbell, and Jasper Repass; Her mother and stepfather, Kimberly and Kevin Armstrong of Leesburg, VA; Her seester Krystle Baldwin and husband Jeremy, nephews, Lane and Brooks all of Rileyville, VA; Her G-Ma, Janie Cunningham of Leesburg, VA; Her aunt, Tina Pearson and Husband, Jon and nephews and niece, Jack, Sean, Ethan, Colin, and Kate all of Charlestown, WV; Her significant other, Jeremy Wilson and his son, Dade of Bentonville, VA; Her biological father, John Mahoney and wife, Katie of Woodbridge, VA; And her Doggie Daughter, Stella. A memorial visitation will take place on Saturday August 26, 2023, from 1:00PM to 4:00PM at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cir. SE, Leesburg, VA 20175.
