About	Sherry L. Howard, 52, of Alvaton, died Sunday Dec. 11, 2011, at 10:06 a.m. at Greenview Regional Hospital. The Warren County native was the daughter of Peggy Howard, who survives, and the late Bill Cosby. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Martha Howard, and her godparents, Chester and Lorene Cosby. Sherry was employed by Fruit of the Loom for 33 years and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011, at 1 p.m. at J.C. Kirby and Son Funeral Home, Broadway chapel, with burial in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include her fianc/, Kenneth Stuart of Auburn; two uncles, George Howard of Bowling Green and Leland Cosby of Alvaton; special niece and nephew, Peggy Smith and her husband, Jonathan, of Alvaton; two special cousins, Linzey and Connor Smith; and several cousins.
