About	Hubert D. "Doug" Simpson age 64 of Bowling Green, died peacefully on Friday, October 8 surrounded by his loving family. Doug was born in Bowling Green to Hubert L. Simpson who survives and the Late Audrey Faye Harris Simpson. He is also preceded in death by his brother Dennis Simpson. Doug was a tow motor Operator for Android Industries. He was a simple man that loved westerns, gardening, and just being outdoors. Doug is survived by a longtime companion Dot Carr; his daughters Tonya Simpson, Tabatha Ray (Allen) and Courtney Simpson all of Bowling Green; his father Hubert L. Simpson of Woodburn; sisters Devonnia Simpson, Becky Brown (Ronnie) and Melissa Lindsey (John) all of Bowling Green; grandchildren Andrew, Nathan, Levi, and Cason; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday, October 17 with visitation beginning at 12:30pm until service time, all at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel.
