About	Neil Alan Nethery, Sr., 56, of Shelbyville, died on Tuesday, the 18th day of February, 2020, at his residence. Born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, he was the son of Barbara Barnett Nethery and the late Shirley E. Nethery. He was a member of the Shelby Christian Church. A master electrician, he was a self-employed electrical contractor. His former memberships also included the Mount Eden Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons. He was also an avid fisherman. His survivors include his son, Neil Alan Nethery, Jr., and his wife, Lindsey, of Shelbyville; his mother, Barbara Barnett Nethery of Shelbyville; his brother, Bradley D. Nethery of Elizabethtown; his former wife, Carolyn Nethery of Lawrenceburg; his stepson, Jacob Simmons and his wife, Elizabeth, of Taylorsville; his stepdaughter, Trina Vanderwerf and her husband, Scott, of Hubert, North Carolina; his nephews, Ryan Nethery of Los Angeles, California, and Sean Nethery of Louisville; and his four step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, the 21st day of February, 2020, at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville with the Reverend Dave Hamlin officiating. Interment will be in the Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M., until 1:45 P.M., Friday, 21 February 2020, at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville.
