About	Dr. Dennis Orville Minix, 72, of Bowling Green, KY passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Hospice House of Southern Kentucky. Dennis was the son of the late Orville and Dorothy Vivian Minix born on September 11, 1945, in Mt. Airy, NC. Dennis was a veteran of the United States Army, a graduate of Warren County High School, a graduate of Western Kentucky University receiving the Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, Specialist in Education, and obtained a Doctorate of Education from Vanderbilt University. He taught English and History at Warren Central High School and served as principal for Cumberland Trace Elementary. Dennis enjoyed photography, music, and learning. He loved animals of all kinds, especially his pets.
