About	David D. Crowe, 67, of Bowling Green, entered into rest Oct. 20, 2011, at Hopkins Care and Rehabilitation Center in Woodburn. A native of Hopkins County, he was born Feb. 22, 1944, to the late Gwen Hart Crowe and Sarah Oldham Crowe and was of the Baptist faith. David was a graduate of Madisonville High School and Western Kentucky University, where he received bachelor’s, master’s and Rank I degrees in mathematics, history and school administration. He was a mathematics teacher at Alvaton and Warren Central high schools and principal at Warren Central High School, where he graduated more than 10,000 students during his tenure there. He retired from Warren Central in 1997. Mr. Crowe was a member of the Warren County Principal’s Association (chairman 1975-76 and 1983-84), Fourth Region Kentucky Association of School Administrators, National Association of Secondary School Principals, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association. He was commissioned Kentucky Colonel by Gov. Julian Carroll in 1976 and 1978 and by Gov. Wallace Wilkinson in 1989.
