| About Me | Who is Louie Musselwhite? The purpose of my life is to encourage myself and others to be more Christ-like. Along with that, I have served on the pastoral staff of several churches, in the role of Associate Pastor as well as Senior Pastor. My motto is to love God & enjoy Him forever. I am an Eagle Scout and have served as an Assistant Scoutmaster and Scoutmaster for 25 years and believe that being true to myself and authentic is of monumental importance. My biggest strength is that I genuinely care and am driven by the ideal of making a difference in the lives of others. The primary question that I am continually asking myself is how can I add even more value right now? I am trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, reverent, and organized. In addition, I am an encourager and don’t believe in head games and value open and honest communication. I am committed to learning, growing, and helping others to do the same. I believe in living in the moment and am committed to being and helping others become the change they wish to see in the world. Whatever I do, I do it with passion. I will treat others as I wish to be treated. One word that describes me is grace. I am very accepting and non-judgmental. I am love, joy, peace, and confidence. I derive immense pleasure when these attributes are manifested in others. My attitude dictates the choices I make in life. I am integrity, strength, courage, resourcefulness, and wisdom. The secret to abundant life is found in giving. I believe that life is not a spectator sport and enjoy an active and healthy lifestyle. Along with that, I believe that we should be good stewards of the body that God has given us. If I can’t laugh at myself then life is gonna be a long one indeed. Louie’s Rules For Living Keep Life Simple Love God & Enjoy Him Forever Develop & Nurture Life Giving Relationships Develop & Nurture 1 Love Giving Relationship God wants us to be more concerned with living each day or the present rather than with our past or our future I will be trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent. I will do a good turn daily and will always strive to be prepared for whatever circumstance in which I find myself Intelligence is best defined as doing anything that contributes toward the attainment of your goals. Is what I am doing contributing? My life ideal is being passionate about making a difference by adding value to another’s life I feel successful when I take the time to listen to God so as to gain His perspective on the issues of life and then do my best in everything, accordingly I feel loved when I act lovingly toward others Character counts. For His character is the most important thing that God wants us to possess. As noted by Abraham Lincoln-Character is like the tree and reputation like its shadow. The shadow is what we think of it, the tree is the real thing. I will invest my life in others and thus see my character grow There are 4 disciplines that are key to being a godly man that is walking in a good degree of health: (1)Read and Study the Word daily and apply the truths therein to my life, (2)Keep a journal, (3)Be in an accountable relationship and be willing to ask the bottom line questions; i.e. Is what you are doing bringing glory and honor to God? If not, what do you need to do differently?, and(4) Have a...(read more) |
