College at Middlebury and University of Michigan; Peace Corps in Afghanistan; moved to San Francisco to create "counter culture" magazine; three wonderful kids (and now seven little grandchildren!); divorced; lived on sailboat in Sausalito Harbor and edited local newspaper; went to Gaza and West Bank as freelance reporter; started nonprofit organization called "If Americans Knew" to tell Americans the facts about Israel-Palestine and recently wrote a book called "Against Our Better Judgment: The Hidden History of How the U.S. Was Used to Create Israel," which I'm excited to say has sold over 30,000 copies and is a best-seller on Amazon.
