| About Me | Weekdays since Nov.28, 2011 I drive as a bank courier, servicing TD Bank "Stores", i.e. what other banks call "Branches". We drivers work seven-week cycles, that is rotating among the six routes for six of the weeks, then working in the mail room, doubling as a spare driver. Our routes span from Kittery to Bangor and Lincoln. .............................. Each weeknight, late night into the wee hours, I drive 25 to 45 miles, delivering pharmaceuticals to area nursing homes in Lewiston, Sabattus and Turner. --------------------------------------------------------- My training in the past has included being a math teacher and finishing a graduate degree as a choral conductor. Most of my life I've been a pianist (mostly accompanying) and an organist. Included was a five-year sojourn, when I lived, studied and taught in Salzburg, Austria. Located in the midst of spectacular Alpine scenery, I was not really working, rather doing things I truly LOVE! A current regret is having allowed my then-command of the German language to slip into near oblivion. Very few people whom I encounter speak German. It would take a decent amount of "spring training" to unrust myself nowadays. Ich soll noch einmal in der Deutsche Sprache zu sprechen, lesen und schreiben ueben, gell? Practice makes perfect! :) However...as long as I live, I shall thank God for allowing me the privilege of fulfilling that wonderful DREAM thirty years ago ! :) --------------------------------------------------------- I LOVE teaching but am not a fan in general of public schools...hence not using the math.
