He was born in Weisbaden, Germany; son of Bernadine (Pina) Gomes and the late Domingo A. Gomes. He had been a cook at Denny's in FL. Survivors include two sons, Derrick Gomes and Kelvin Gomes; two daughters, Stephanie Gomes and Mary Alex Gomes; a brother, Michael Gomes; a granddaughter, Zoey Gomes, several nieces and nephews.
