About Me	After high school, I attended the University of Iowa for 2 years and Allen College for 4 1/2years (some of this part time), receiving my BSN in December of 1998. I accepted a nursing postion at Mercy in Cedar Rapids, IA in pediatrics/OB and worked there for 9 months before taking a nursing job in pediatrics at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. I worked 1 month shy of 8 years on an inpatient pediatric unit mainly with patients with cancer. I am now working in a pediatric specialty clinic at the UIHC as a nurse since Jan. '08. I met my husband, Jeff in 2003 thru his niece that I worked with (he was a "surprise" to his parents 16 years after his sister). He became my husband in 2005.
