Served as an Electronics Tech in surface communications. First duty station was Bangor, WA submarine base, then went to the USS Ranger (CV-61) for 4 1/2 years, then went to Service School Command San Diego to teach satellite communications.

Army, 4 Years
I served from '83-'87 and was an Interrogator/German Linguist. I was trained in Missouri, Arizona and San Francisco. I spent 3x years at Fort Hood, Texas. I traveled to Europe twice (Netherlands and Germany) and met my future wife, the former Alma Jo Cobb, on a basketball court in West Fort Hood. I coached our Brigade Womens' Basketball team , and we were married a year and a half later.

National Guard, 12 Years
Currently serving in the Indiana Army National Guard as a Recruiter. I have completed two tours in Iraq: 2003 during the invasion as a sniper and 2008 as a convoy security truck commander. I have been through several military schools with some including: Airborne, Air Assault, Sniper, etc.

Still proudly serving in the U.S. Air Force for nearly 22 years now. Currently stationed at Andrews AFB (Washington D.C.) and will be moving to the Pentagon this summer.
