| About Me | I went to EKU and got an AD and became a RN. I worked at the VA in Lexington, and then Cincinnati with geriatrics, neurology and neurosurgery. I got married in 1981 and we started our family in 1982 on tax day. I was almost a stay at home mom for 9 years if you don't count the volunteering as "art lady" at school, Girl Scout leader, teaching Red Cross CPR and first aid, and teaching exercise at the YMCA. I went back to work at Providence Hospital on rehabilitation on night shift for 8 years and then 1 year of days on the skilled nursing unit. I went to massage school and became a licensed massage therapist in Ohio. I am certified to treat lymphedema and assist the Chikley Institute in hands on teaching of this.
