She was born on April 4, 1974, to Grant and Anice Stephens. A native of Putnam Valley, New York, and a proud 1991 graduate of Walter Panas High School, Visna was a beacon of faith, strength, and kindness throughout her life. In September 1998 she married Curtis Dabbs at Sinapi's Ceola Manor in Jefferson Valley, NY. They divorced in 2008. In 2009, she moved to Mobile, Alabama, to live with her father, where she continued to touch countless lives with her warmth and generosity of spirit. Visna was a devoted member of Dayspring Baptist Church, where she found joy in worship and fellowship with her church family. She was known for her infectious laugh, her unwavering faith, and her ability to light up any room she entered. Her love for family and commitment to doing what was right will continue to inspire all who knew her. She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly..
