Christopher Simmons
Class of 1983
On August 11,2010 - Christopher Simmons of the Intercontinental Austin, TX was recognized for protecting the hotel from serve water damage. Christopher responded quickly to a broken sprinkler head - he radioed the Manager on duty to call 911. Once the fire department arrived, he lead them to the sprinkler shut-off valve, then stayed several hours after his shift to help clean up the small amount of water damage that occur. his proactive response prevented a major hotel flood.
