About Me	I taught Spanish at Richard Montgomery H.S., North Bethesda Jr. Hi, and Kensington Jr. Hi. The summer of 1965 I attended a Spanish Workshop in Tacoma, Washington earning credits towards my M.A. in Spanish. A year later found me working at George Washington for the Historian of the university as a way to pay for my graduate courses. I married a wonderful man from Boston in the fall of 1966 and have moved up and down the East Coast with him for the past 52 years. I went Rutgers and received my Master's in Library Science and was employed as a Children's Librarian for five years before returning to education as a School Librarian for another 12 years retiring in 2006. We currently are living in N.J. a few miles East of Philly. We have two daughters - one in Boston and the other about 10 miles away from us in N.J. Our grandchildren are all boys - two in Boston and one closely. They are a "kick in the head" and "loads of fun". I work with Hispanic immigrants part-time in Camden helping them to get jobs, health care and apply for their citizenship papers. The men and women I work with are hard, hard workers, learning English at night after a day of work, singing in choir at church in the Spanish masses and participating community organizing - making sure the safety, cleanliness and education in Camden is available for all.
