Tony Ciccone
Class of 1978
Nicknamed "Tony Mopar" by classmates because of his intimidating 1971 'Cuda 440 in High School. Tony went from pumping gas his senior year at the Gulf Station across from WWHS, to becoming an accomplished Motion Picture Editor and Actor, working for over 30 years on some of the biggest movies in Hollywood, including the venerable classic, "Ground Hog Day." After graduating SUNY @ Stony Brook in 1982, Tony went west to pursue his dream. His Dad told him to get a job in in a Hollywood restaurant so he wouldn't starve, and would also meet producers. It was sage advice. Within a year, Tony landed a bit part on the huge action TV show, The A-Team, within four years was getting fan mail, and within 5 years began climbing the ranks to become a Motion Picture Editor on the biggest movie off 2000, "Mission: Impossible II" staring box-office giant, Tom Cruise.
