Don LeRoy Bartmess who ran track at WHS during his junior and senior moved after graduation to Eugene, Oregon where he spent the remainder of his life. He was married to Zora Belle Trump in 1955. His working career in Eugene culminated as route supervisor of transportation for the Eugene School District #4J.
