Graduation Year Class of 1975
Date of Passing Apr 22, 2023
About Timothy Farnelli, 66, a long-time resident Mount Pocono was pleased to join his family in heaven after a bout with pancreatic cancer laid him up here on earth. He passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Bethlehem, PA. Born in Doylestown, PA, he was the son of Marian Buechele Farnelli and the late William L. Farnelli, Sr.
Tim grew up in LaAnna. He graduated in 1975 from Wallenpaupack Area High School, where he was a wrestler and baseball player. He was an avid outdoorsman from an early age, hunting and fishing at every opportunity.
Tim served in the United States Navy for four years aboard the USS McCandless.
He met his wife Alison while she was roommates with his sister, Susan Farnelli. The couple enjoyed traveling and fishing together for many years, and especially enjoyed boating.
Tim worked for many years at a Coca Cola plant in Kearney, NJ. Later, he worked at Warren Distributing in Flanders, NJ as a delivery truck driver. He was employed until retirement as a CNA in Monroe County, PA.
He was a devoted father and caregiver for his daughter Melissa and later his wife Alison, both of whom had myotonic dystrophy.
Tim was married to Alison (Rodin) Farnelli for over 35 years, until her death in 2022.
In addition to his wife, Tim was predeceased by his daughter, Melissa, in 2018; his father, William Farnelli, Sr.; and his brothers Martin and David.
Tim is survived by his mother, Marian Farnelli of LaAnna; his brothers Bill (Lynn) of Bayonne, NJ, Jay of South Sterling, sister Susan of Allentown, sisters-in-law Patricia of Dimock and Mayra of Miami, FL, and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. His grandnieces and grandnephews will always remember him for his attentive conversations and correspondence. The family chats will not be the same without his giant emojis, throw-back Thursday pictures and pictures of 1960’s sitcoms.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family

I remember Tim. We were on the wrestling team together. I also recall him in chorus having a booming bass type of voice. He was cool dude, and easy to get along with. RIP Brother!
