volunteered for the draft january 1969, basic training, advanced infantry training, non-commissioned officer school, took trainees through advanced infantry training and went to Viet Nam 1st infantry Division, 25th infantry division "Wolfhounds". Came home, got married, went to college and tried to forget about it.
