| About Me | Went to bi-lingual secretarial school, finished there. Moved to Hollywood, CA after that and worked and lived there for a year. Went to the Filmore in San Francisco several times. Saw Eric Burden & The Animals, Janis Joplin and BIg Brother, Grace Slick and Jefferson Airplane. Moved back home and got a job. Met my husband, got married and had my first child all by the age of 21. Had my second child by the age of 22. Got interested in Siberian Huskies and was breeding them and showing them. Had several champions. Moved to Florida when kids were 1 & 2. LIved there for 3 years and came back to NJ. Worked for New England Oyster House in Florida where I did use my Spanish a lot. When we moved back to NJ I got my present job in 1974 and have been working here ever since. My son went to the University of St Andrews in Scotland so we have been to Europe a lot. My daughter went to Parks College of Aviation in St Louis so we got to go out there also. I have been fortunate enough to go to Paris 16 times. Befriended several college students from Slovakia who came to the US to work for the summer and have stayed with us. I have been to Slovakia 3 times to meet their families and are planning another trip this year to see the last 2 gilrs graduate university. I enjoy collecting certa...(read more) |
