About	Mrs. Brenda Y. Eaton, 67, of Hagerstown, formerly of Frederick, died Thursday, October 9, 2014 following a lengthy illness. She was the loving wife of Morris F. Eaton, Sr. for 51 years. Born August 12, 1947 in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late James Franklin Fox and Yvonne Young Gilbert. Brenda enjoyed gardening, crafts and spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Morris F. Eaton, Jr. and wife, Missy, of Pennsylvania; daughter, Cathy Smith and husband, Bobby, of Clear Spring; four grandchildren, Ashley Pearcey, Matthew Eaton, Katelyn Eaton, and Alicia Coblentz; a great granddaughter, Allie Bove; and two sisters, Patty Forester and Debbie Crider, both of Alabama. She was predeceased by her brother, James Franklin Fox. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 13 from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Charles Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
