About	Harry Earl Huffer born 04/29/1960 in Bethesda Maryland known to many as "Chip" passed away after his long battle with cancer on Feb. 28 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents Harry Robert and Patricia Jane Huffer of Woodsboro Maryland and a sister Teresa Perry of North Carolina. He is survived by brothers David Huffer and his sister in law Silvia Huffer of Sanford North Carolina along with Steve Huffer of Lillington North Carolina and a sister Katie Huffer Palmer and brother in law Jim Palmer of Ijamsville Maryland. He also left behind two nephews, three nieces and five grand nieces along with his close cousins. Chip was a 1978 graduate of Walkersville High School. He played football on their first team and placed all county center that year. Chip served in the U.S. Army as a signal cryptic analyst, part of military intelligence. He served his first two years overseas in Korea. Later in life he moved to North Carolina to be close to his brothers. He was a lifelong redskins football fan and was able to attend one last home game in Maryland just months before his death. Chip loved the beach and animals just like the rest of his family.
