About	Elizabeth "Bette" Ellis Cuddahee, 68, of Woodsboro, Maryland, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Daniel Michael Cuddahee for 42 years. Born on April 14, 1956, in Frostburg, Maryland, Bette was the daughter of the late Ronald Eugene Ellis and Laurel Kreitzburg Ellis. Bette is survived by her children: David Michael Cuddahee (Shanna), Alan Ellis Cuddahee (Tiffany), and April Beth Parler (Dallas); and her grandchildren: Jaqclyn, Khloe, Coltyn, and Kaiya Cuddahee, Benaiah and Gabriel Cuddahee, Jace, Hudson, Adelyn, Nyra, and Rogan Parler. She is also survived by her great-grandson, Oliver. A proud graduate of Walkersville High School and Frederick Community College, Bette spent many years as a devoted homemaker. After her children grew older, she worked as a special education assistant at Parkway Elementary School and volunteered at her grandchildren's schools. In addition, Bette shared her love of music and crafts by teaching piano and card making. Bette was an active member of Frederick Church of the Brethren and played the piano for Fredericktowne Baptist Church for many decades. Her creative spirit extended to a variety of hobbies, including card making, stamping, quilting, sewing, crocheting, and gardening. Bette also enjoyed spending time with her dogs and had a special gift for training them. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 1:30 PM at the Frederick Church of the Brethren, 201 Fairview Ave., Frederick, MD 21701.
