About Me	Life Hard to believe that it has been 13 years now since graduation. Earlier this year I was medically retired from the Navy with Epelisy. I enjoyed every minute of my time in the Navy, but I will certainly miss my job and all the wonderful people I met. So here is a quick brief on what I have done so far. I served for 4 years onboard the USS NASSAU (LHA 4) working in the ships office. I spent the next 3 years working for the Supreme Allied Commander, Atlantic of the North Atlantic Treaty Orginization in Norfolk, VA in the Secret Vault. I then moved on to be the Ship's Secretary onboard the USS PAUL F. FOSTER (DD 964) in Seattle WA from 2001 to 2003. After that I attended school in Meridian, MS for Flag Writer (Admiral Assistant) in March and April of 2003. Following my graduation from school, I worked for Rear Admiral Ellison the Superintendet of the Navy Post Graduate School in Monterey, CA during the summer of 2003. I then transfered and worked for Rear Admiral Reilly of Commander, Cruiser Destroyer Group TWO on board the USS HARRY S. TRUMAN (CVN 75). From there I moved on to Assault Craft Unit FOUR back in Virginia Beach, VA and that's where I finished out my naval career. In May of 2006 I married the former Katherine Ruckel of Pittsburgh, PA. We moved back to the Pittsburgh area in January of 2007. I am now employed as the Administrative and ROTC Coordinator for the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) for Carnegie Mellon University,...(read more)
