About Me	Finally a grandmother, I guess we are all late bloomers in this family!.. Our daughter Brooke and husband Andrew provided the first of our 4 granddaughters, Shelby was born in 2008 and her sister Paige in 2011. They live in Seattle, WA. Son Colby and wife Kristy gave us 2 more granddaughters Rylee born in 2009 and Regan born in 2012. they live in Newport Beach, CA. They have all been great fun to visit, so I am constantly on the go up and down the west coast. I decided to attend college while raising our 2 kids as I knew I would want a 2nd career (first being flight attendant) . I will say that all those who thought you could not enter the workforce after 40 or even after 50 were dead wrong (in the CA market for sure). I finally retired in late 2016 - after an exciting and fun 25+ years working in the Tech Industry in San Jose, CA. I have now added global (verses family) travel - with some other recent widows - to my yearly plan...(read more)
