About	Paul J. Bettano, 46, a graduate of Wakefield High School, class of 1981. He also attended Bunker Hill Community College as well as Salem State College. In 1982 Paul was the youngest in the State to be elected to service on the Wakefield School Committee and had also served as Chairman. Paul was actively involved in campaigns for many elected officials, most recently the Baker & Tisei Campaign. He had also served on the Wakefield Charter Commission. Paul was on the Board of Trustees for the Stoneham Theatre. He was actively involved in the Plummer Home for Boys in Salem, MA and the Big Brother, Big Sister organization. Paul was an active member of St. Joseph Church and a former alter boy. Paul was a Controller for the D.L. Saunders Company & The Boston Park Plaza Hotel, LLC in Boston. He had also worked in the Secretary of State's Office, was the Chief of Staff for the former State Rep. Bill Cass and had been employed by Thayer & Associates and Symes Associates.
