About Thomas F. Dillon, Jr., 64 a resident of Salem for the last twenty-two years, and formerly of Wakefield, Massachusetts, died September 15, 2015 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry.

Born in Winchester, MA, son of Mary Ann (Francis) Dillon and the late Thomas F. Dillon, he was raised and educated in Wakefield, attending Saint Joseph Grammar School and graduating Wakefield High School with the Class of 1970.
Thomas was employed as a truck driver for twenty-one years by Roche Bros. Supermarkets and was a former member of The Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps and the Senior Corps.
An avid and dedicated Boston Bruins and New England Patriots fan, he was also a former boxer and member of the New Garden Gym, Boston.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-four years, Deborah (D'Olimpio) Dillon, two daughters, Darcy E. Dillon and Devon M. Dillon, both of Salem, his mother Mary A. (Francis) Dillon of Melrose, MA, three sisters, Donna M. Dillon of Woburn, MA, Patty A. Hinds and her husband (Dana) of Gilmanton, NH, and Maura Dillon of Billerica, MA, niece, Danielle Murray of Salem, MA, nephews, Dana S. Hinds, Jr. of Gilford, NH., Dane D. Murray of Chelmsford, MA and Joshua T. Dillon of Billerica, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life for Thomas to be held on Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the West Side Social Club, 4 Harrington Court, Wakefield, MA. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to The Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps, P.O.Box 51391, Boston, Massachusetts or to the MSPCA c/o Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA.
