About Me 28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. 29 He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. 30 Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; 31 but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40: 28-31 I am currently at a huge crossroads in my life. My husband was just diagnosised with Liver Ca. Our lives are truly in Gods hands, and sometimes you just have to step back and breath and let God work it out. **** One year later, liver transplant went great. Thank you God... It was a tough year, but buy the Grace of God, we have gotten thru 1 year with a new liver. Bo has good days and bad days, as we all do. He is Cancer free. God is Great. I look back and think, where did all the time go. We would have never gotten thru, without the prayers of family and great friends. We have 2 weinner dog's, Rowdy is a 1 1/2 year, Rocko is 4 monts old and I firmly beleive he is a devil dog.... They keep it fun for sure. I love my babies..... *** Close to 2 years later: I have learned a lot. The people you thought would always be there for you are not. That's not necessarily a bad thing, it can be a hurtful thing; But it does make you look to God for help rather than man. Bo & I moved to Waco to be closer to his family, but it turned out 2 years later I found that alot of my family are here and in the surrounding area. I have never been more Thankful for anything in all my life. Life for Bo and I has changed alot during the last 2 years. He was in a wreck while working the October after his liver transplant, and has had to undergo another surgery to repair Hernia's. He is unable to work, and he suffers from alot of depression. Thru all of it Bo still gives his testomony to who ever will listen. It's been a hard 2 years, but only by the grace of God have we gotten thru it. It's funny how people change when a loved one is sick. At first they fall at your feet to help, but as time wears on, people tend to move away from you. Some still call, but it's hearbreaking especially for Bo. I really felt lead to update this tonight; maybe because Christmas is so close; maybe I just need my friends and family (the ones who have stuck it out) to know how much I love them. My family that has come back into my life is and me into theirs is truly sent from God. God opened that door just at my breaking point. God has provided. Somedays are harder than others. But God is always there, when people are not- God is. ****You shouldn't have to beg family to call and check on a loved one. If you love them you just do it. We still have our 2 weinner dog's, Rowdy is 2 1/2 year, Rocko is 1 year old and is still devil dog.... They keep it fun for sure. I love my babies..... I lost Bo On June 25th, 2012 to along battle with Liver Disease. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss his laugh. Through Gods Grace I have learned a lot about heart ache, people, family and friends. I thank God for everyday we had together, even the bad ones. The hardest thing is that Life does go on....(read more)
