| About Me | "Graduated from Mass. Maritime Academy in 1975. Unique experience for four years being a quasi-military merchant marine academy. BS in Marine Electrical Engineering. Sailed the seven seas for a total of five years as an Engineering Officer. Enjoyed the cultural enrichment experiening many different parts of the world. Attended WPI grad school for management training in 1983-84. Retired as a First Class Stationary Engineer from the Power Plant at UMass. Medical Center in 2002 after 25 yrs. service. Worked as Consultant Engineer part-time at WPI for 16 years(1993-2009). Did some flying as a private pilot in 1994-96 Enjoy ballroom dancing, traveling, enjoyed my 1976 Harley Davidson Liberty Edition FLH for 5 yrs(1976-81). 9 handicap golfer....although getting worse every year. Use my Personal Trainer License part time. Speak basic Greek and Russian languages.Would like to go back to Mauritius again. Land of the extinct dodo bird. Currently enjoying life close to the ocean in Westbrook,ME with my wife Svetlana. After recently looking at my 1971 WRHS yearbook, I realized I never had any photos in it. Had a great time at the 35th WRHS class of '71 reunion in Gardner,MA. 2006. Hard to believe we're in our 70's now...I guess it's true...Time waits for no one.
