About Me	I grew up in Wabash, Indiana. I graduated from Wabash High School n 1973. One of my favorite quotes is from the Desiderata..."Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others." What I've learned this year is that internal peace comes in the stillness. When you are truly "still" is when you find GOD. That's what Psalm 46:10 tells us. "Be still and know that I am GOD." I consciously make this my goal everyday. I am a registered nurse with a Bachelor's of Science degree. I have worked in critical care, ER, cardiac, hospice and now I do facial aesthetics.. I work at South Ga Vein Ctr in Valdosta, GA with Dr Greg Martin, Vascular Surgeon. I assist him during endovenous laser vein ablations. I, specifically, specialize in sclerotherapy (treating spider veins), photo facials, Botox Juvederm and PCA peels. I love to workout with ZUMBA! I still enjoy yoga too... I'm just not able to attend classes right now. My husband, Mark, is retired from the Air Force. He currently works as an addictions counselor for Valdosta State University. My two children are grown. Ryan is 37 and a father of two boys. He is a partner is a computer technology business called "Nexxtep" in Valdosta. My daughter, Mariah, 33, is a great mom of two boys, Asher, 13 and Ayden 5. She teaches 2nd grade at Pine Grove Elementary, Valdosta. They are both happily married. Matt is our son-in-law , he is a "fun" husband (my daughter says he always makes her laugh), dad and son-in-law. He is the band director for Lanier County high school in Lakeland, GA. My daughter-in-law, Robyn is wonderfully gifted in so many areas but most importantly she is a wonderful mom to two of my grandsons, Owen, 4 and Nate, 7. She also teaches an ater-school program at Valwood. My family and I have lived in Valdosta for about 18 years... minus two years when we were on an assignment in Oklahoma City at Tinker AFB.
