Donald Keith Strickler, 59, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 12:15 pm, Friday, February 14, 2014 at his home. He was born December 22, 1954 in Wabash to Richard and Elsie (Horner) Strickler.
Donald was a 1973 graduate of Wabash High School. He was previously married to Marsha Caudill. He was a construction worker most of his life, working for Morton Buildings; and for the past 6 years he worked at Wal-Mart in Wabash. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and traveling. He was an avid Chicago Bears & Chicago Bulls fan. He collected beer steins and baseball cards.
He is survived by his mother, Elsie Stricker of Wabash, 2 sons, Jeremiah David Strickler and Kyle Adam Strickler both of Indianapolis, Indiana, 2 brothers, Rick Strickler and Jeff (Lori) Strickler both of Wabash, and sister, Jody (Chuck) Burkholder of Wabash. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Strickler.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, Curt Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
