About	Billy Ray Dials, age 69 of Beaman, Iowa passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Per his wishes and his family, cremation rites have been accorded. Billy’s family will hold a personal ceremony to celebrate his life at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family. Billy Dials was born September 1, 1954 in Kentucky to his parents, Oliver and Lizzy (Thornsberry) Dials. After his high school graduation, Billy proudly served his country in the United States Army for four years. He later decided to join the workforce as a millwright rigger for the majority of his working years. Billy enjoyed golfing, and spending time watching both football and baseball games. He was a big Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Cubs fan. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Landis) Dials, his children: Jeremy Jones of Indiana, Brandon Jones of Tennessee, Jeremy Dials of Iowa, Steven Jones of Indiana, and Rachelle (Jones) Morgan of Indiana, his 26 grandchildren: Michael Jones, Jessica Jones, Kennedy Jones, Johnny Jones, Kimberly, Courtney Lynn, Caysea Whitton, Miranda Ross, Cassandra Ross, Nova McIntire, Lincoln Purvis, Logan Jones, Airryahna Jones, Sayla Scott, Hudson Dials, Madalyn Dials, Grant Dials, Elizabeth Dials, Ariel Shellenbarger, Brady Shellenbarger, Damian Jones, Alexander Jones, Gwendalyne Dials and Kennedy Glassburn, his 17 great-grandchildren and his brother Kenneth Dials of Indiana. Billy is preceded in death by his parents Lizzie and Oliver, his daughter Clarissa Dials, and his sisters: Lora McCleese and Edna Louise Parson.
