| Favorite School Memory | Budstock, the Casey's, high school football games, sitting on the heater goofin, cleve's pizza, mantua pool, listening to jimi stemple's and steve bishops band play deep purple, hanging out with my boyz and knowing every friday and saturday would be some new whacky adventure, getting to 2nd base and trying to advance to 3rd, eating meatloaf sandwiches every day from my loving mom, daydreaming if missy kern was as wild as I had heard, goofin on Danny Wallingsford for getting his buns squeezed by coach pugh, fake ID working to buy beer from the ol lady at Highs across from WTW, going to see Jefferson Airplane and Edgar Winter's White Trash at nite with 500,000 protestors on the monumnet grounds at nite with D and his older brothers and then going to strip clubs for the first time on 14th street, playing putt putt golf with the cute Whittet sisters in Randy's convertible camaro, graduation parties and moving on to college, checkin out Brenda Cook in her bikini, getting Goop as a nickname from John Monroe and now its on my license plate 40 years later, midnite movies, pickett pool hall, tackle football on saturdays, Dale Green and Barry Hill, tearing mr ladson new car's spoiler off by accident and having to go take it into him and his office, seeing all of you at reunions and remembering what you all mean to me and smiling at the fact that we thought it would never end....(read more) |
