About	William Farmer Obituary Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 31, 2011. William "Bill" Marvin Farmer, 61, passed away Friday, July 29, 2011. Funeral: Noon Tuesday at First United Methodist Church of Grapevine. Vistation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Forest Ridge Funeral Home in Hurst. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Grapevine Elks Lodge for the Christmas Bicycle Program. Bill was born on Aug. 7, 1949, to the late Frank and Iris Farmer and has lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth area almost all of his life. He graduated from Stephen F Austin with a bachelor of science degree in forestry. He married the late Linda Bynum in 1997. Bill chose a career in restaurant management and had been working for Mr. Phil Parker for over 15 years in the golf and resturant businesses. Bill was a former trustee for the Grapevine Elks Lodge and enjoyed golfing, hunting,and music. He loved spending time with family whenever possible and never knew a stranger. Survivors: Daughters, Jennie Brouillette and husband, Kyle, and Missy Farmer; stepsons, Keith Bynum and Michael Bynum; brother, Tom Farmer and wife, Cathy; grandchildren, Eryn Bynum, Mackenzie Bynum, Drew Callaway and Christopher Bynum; niece, Amanda McNally and her family; sister-in-law, Charlotte Hitt; and extended family, the girls at Pockets.
