I was in an Accident entering the parking lot at school one morning. Janice ladely and I got a ride with Jim Crisman and Janice and rob fuller were in the back seat and I was in the front seat. Little did I know my door was not locked however actually not shut.
As we turned into the school 26th Street I dropped my bucket purse on the floor spilling it, I recovered the contents closed the purse leaned back and out I went backwards onto the pavement sliding in to the curb. To said trying to keep me from going into shock said “nice back sumersault Delores”. Everyone started running out to see what happened, they called the ambulance and my mother, mrs. Wedin said “good way to get out of typing test.”
Fortunately no broken bones however I fell of the X-ray table , mom took me home with some scratches and bruises , recovered and back to school in a few days,
If I am remembering correct. I think it was my junior year 1960. Anyone remember ??
