About Me	A career in federal then local government with a BA in economics (UF) in ‘78 and an MPA (USF) in 2001. Read a Walk in the Woods about 20 years ago and it rekindled the Eagle Scout in me. I do backpacking on the Appalachian Trail (40-60 mile trips). I tried out for Drum Major my senior year and we had to try directing to the Doobie Brothers’ “China Grove.” I met the band about 20 years ago and pointed out the part in the song where the music stops cost me any chance.
