He was born September 20, 1949 in Vero Beach and was the son of Thomas Lester and Annie Mae (Walker) O'Neal. He graduated from Vero Beach High School in 1968. He was a carpenter and contractor in Indian River County for more than 40 years. He was an avid outdoors-man, enjoying fishing, airboating and life long supporter of the Dodgers' baseball in Vero Beach. Survivors include his son Thomas L. O'Neal, III of El Paso, Texas, a daughter Kristy O'Neal of Vero Beach and grandchildren Katelyn and Travis Hicks, sisters Glorida Testa of Ft. Pierce and Brenda Corum (Carl) of Vero Beach and niece Summer Canoy (Adam) and their daughter Zann of Stem, NC. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Akers. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Red Cross, Florida's Coast to Heartland Chapter, 2506 17th Ave., Vero Beach, Fl. 32960.
