Ms. Gallo was a native of Vero Beach, being born on August 24,1950. She served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. She was a member of the First Church of God. Survivors include: Mother, Anne Sanger of Columbus, GA; Father, Forrest R. Smith, Jr. of Vero Beach, FL; sons, Christopher Lohman of Alpharetta, GA and Jonathan Gallo of Vero Beach; daughter, Genevieve Gallo of Vero Beach; sisters, Debbie Megee of Vero Beach, Sandy Coker of Atlanta, GA and Cynthia Giamella of Orlando, FL; brothers, Scott and Forest R. Smith, III of Vero Beach and one grandson. SERVICES: The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 28,2006 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home. A service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 29,2006 at the First Church of God, Vero Beach. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach. Contributions may be made to the First Church of God, 1105 58th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32966 in her name.
