Lost & Found Verden High School Class Rings

Lost in 1979. Stolen along with wife's purse accidentally left at a Dairy Queen in Denton, TX. We were 100 miles south when discovered purse was missing. Called what we thought was the same Dairy Queen, but it was a different one close to Dallas. Told lady in her 50's "my wife left her purse, it is on the west side, middle booth in the floor". She checked, said nothing there. I asked if this is Dairy Queen in Denton? She said no, a Dairy Queen outside Dallas. I said sorry, have the wrong one. Traveled back 100 miles to Denton, TX to Dairy Queen, went to counter, asked if they had my wifes purse. They looked surprised, said a man in his 50's just left, like you he asked for his wifes purse. He said "my wife left her purse, it was on the west side, middle booth in the floor" (exact words I used when calling the wrong Dairy Queen). I said, and you gave it too him without proof? I called Police, they came, filed a report, nothing came of it. So you see, the lady at other Dairy Queen must have called "a man" gave my description of where purse was at and where, He got there first. 34 years ago.
