| About Me | Born in California during WWII and raised on Long Island,NY until age 13. Father retired from City Of New York in 1958 moving the family (Mom & my brother Rob) to Englewood, Florida. Attended Venice High School, Venice, Fl graduating in 1962. After graduation enlisted in US Navy for 3 years with a discharge in 1965. Re-enlisted by joing the US Air Force for 4 years with a discharged in 1969 to enter college. During both military tours worked as an aircraft technician on fighter jets serving shipboard and overseas in the Far East. Studied electronics technolgy receiving degree in 1971. Accepted employment with Southern Bell Telephone in 1979 where I worked for the next 25 years for a total of 33 years in the telecommunications industry. Retired in late 2007 to pursue personal interests and start a small business of making/selling pottery with wife Gail. Married twice. Current wife is the former Gail Clady of Sarasota, Fl. We were wed in October 2000. Today, Gail and I enjoy our retirement (she is a 25 year veteran of Real Estate Brokering/Management) spending the summers & fall in the mountains of North Carolina and the winters in sunny Florida. Together, we hike, kayak, canoe, and work our small business "Willow Art Pottery". Our Florida home is located in Lake Asbury and our North Carolina retreat is to the Western part of the state very near Sylva, NC. I have two sons by my previous wife, Gloria.
