About	Tommy, of Orange Park, FL passed away on November 12, 2015 at age 68. He was born April 9, 1947, in East Cleveland, OH, the son of the late James and Marylyn Thompson. Tommy served as a Ranger in the Army and was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division and the 101st Airborne Division “Screaming Eagles”. During his service time, he accomplished over 50 parachute jumps as a paratrooper, earned a Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars. On November 7, 1972, he married his loving wife, Nancy in Bradenton, FL. Tommy proudly graduated from the University of West Florida with a degree in accounting. He retired from civil service, Naval Air Station Jacksonville. Tommy was an active supporter of the Boy Scouts of America and served in many roles. He was an avid golfer and bowler. He also enjoyed spending time with his family traveling and camping. Tommy is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nancy; son Phillip Thompson; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Brad Pittman; grandson, Landon Pittman; two brothers and two sisters.
