About Event
Don't miss the Better Late than Never VHS Class of 1970 50th reunion. Meet and greet on Friday, along with a jam session upstairs. The Reunion Ball will be held on Saturday night. Other events are in the works. The theme is Hawaiian, low key and laid back. After 50 years, we just want to enjoy our friends and our life. Dear Classmates of VHS Class of 1970,
Hope you're all doing well and staying healthy.
Out of an abundance of caution and, most importantly, for the health of our fellow graduates, the Class of 1970 50th Reunion Committee has unanimously decided to postpone the planned 50th Reunion for the weekend of Sept 11-13, 2020. We are not canceling our plans, merely postponing them until September 2021 . . . a Better Late than Never 50th Reunion!
If you've purchased tickets for the ball and/or the meal plan by check, all monies will be refunded in full. If through EventSmart, all monies will be refunded less a minimal Paypal fee. If you made reservations for lodging at the Atrium, you will need to cancel those individually.
The Committee believes that by September of 2021 this virus will be under control and social distancing and sheltering in place a thing of the past. We hope that you are looking forward to this 50th+1 Reunion and that you might even like to help with it, given that we now have almost 18 months to work on it. Your ideas and input would be most welcome. You can contact any Committee member if you're interested. They are Harvey Keyner, Jimmy Fernandez, Mary (Dominguez) Bracamontes, Lelah (Heath) Pealer, Wayne Downey, Ben Braunstein and Kathy (Kobata) Wolchick. We'd love to hear from you!

Hi, Class of 1970 and friends. Just a quick correction regarding the prices for the Reunion. The Committee has extended the Early Bird prices for both the Saturday nite Ball and for the 3-day meal plan of $80 each until 5/31. The hotel room special remains until 3/31. With all this craziness happening, we're hopeful that things will be back to normal by September. Hoping to see you there!

It'll be held at the Atrium in Irvine and is set for September 11, 12 and 13, 2020. The Early Bird special for the Saturday night event has been extended to May 31. The Early Bird Special price for the Ball has been extended to 5/31. The Early Bird Special 3-day meal plan price and the room prices are through 3/31. As our lives are in such a state of flux, please just take care. We'll post if things change.
