Marilou Betty Roberts was born on February 12, 1930, in Los Angeles, California, her father, Alfred, was 21, and her mother, Jessie, was 20. She married Glen Edward Craig on October 21, 1949, in her hometown. They had three children during their marriage. She died on April 4, 2012, in Torrance, California, at the age of 82, and was buried in Santa Monica, California at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
